The Atlantic County Utilities Authority will celebrate its 19th Annual Earth Day Festival at the Haneman Environmental Park in Egg Harbor Township on Sunday, April 26th from 10 am until 4 pm. The festival draws a crowd of nearly 4,000 people of all ages who have one common goal: to have fun and help make a positive change for the future of our environment.
The 2009 is shaping up to be another great event. So far just over 100 vendors and crafters have registered for the festival. There will be non-stop entertainment from 10 am until 4 pm on the Harrah’s stage, such as live music, Native American songs and dances by Venture Crew 423, the 4H Cloggers, interactive magic shows, The Franklin Institute Electricity Show, and a musical performance “Rock the Boat” by the NJ Academy for Aquatic Sciences. In addition, other entertainment throughout the day will be two showings of Disney’s Wall-E, Cape May Zoo shows, 4H Petting Zoo and many other 4H activities, a live turtle presentation, tours of the Wind Farm and Solar Array, hayrides to the top of the landfill and much, much more.
We are looking forward to a great festival in 2009!
