Is the Earth Day festival right for your group or organization? To be an exhibitor all items must meet at least one of the following criteria: • Handcrafted • Eco-friendly • Fair Trade • Educational
Who can participate? Earth Day exhibiting is open to all types of organizations: non-profit, for-profit, government departments and agencies, individuals, clubs, schools, etc. In the spirit of the celebration, we ask that non-profit groups provide an educational display with a hands-on (interactive) activity.
Are any items restricted from being sold or displayed? The sale or giving away of animals (including fish) is prohibited, as are helium balloons. Flea market items, items that are not handcrafted, eco-friendly, fair trade or educational are not allowed. Vendors will be asked to stop the sale or distribution of any items that do not meet the criteria as stated.
Non-profit groups are free to sell products for their own fund-raising purposes.
If I decide to exhibit, how will the day go? Earth Day exhibitor setup takes place from 7am - 9am. Vendor traffic will not be permitted in the festival after 9 am. The festival starts at 10 am. All exhibitors must remain from setup through the end of the festival at 4 pm. (There is no vehicular traffic through the park during the fair).
Where will I park? Vendor parking for all vehicles will be in a designated area. Vehicles are not allowed to remain at assigned sites after set up.
How do I proceed? Exhibitor applications for Earth Day 2010 will be accepted beginning in sometime in January 2010. You will be able to fill out and submit your exhibitor application and payment on-line. You may also print the application and mail it in.
