Motor oil can be disposed of at national chain stores and auto body shops that sell it (Advance Auto Parts, Pep Boys, etc.). Your local public works department may also accept it for recycling. Click here to find your town's contact information.
Motor oil that is not contaminated may also be taken with other household chemicals and auto-care products to our Household Hazardous Waste Drop- Offs throughout the year.
