Community Roadside Cleanup - 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
All supplies and snacks will be provided. Proper attire required. Long pants & shirts (preferable light in color), sneakers and socks or boots must be worn.

Earth Day Oakfest - 10 a.m.
Enjoy local vendors and exhibitors, interactive and educational family fun, and free workshops.
Free document shredding and e-waste recycling will be available! Recycle your rigid plastics, batteries, crayons, prescription eyeglasses, single-use plastic pags, and packaging materials.

ACUA Board Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in the Geo Administrative Building (Building 1) located at the ACUA’s Haneman Environmental Park. Meetings are open to the public.

Atlantic County 4-H hosts an electronics recycling fundraiser on the third Saturday of MOST months. Please email ac4hfairgrounds@gmail.com to confirm they are collecting that month.

The electronics are recycled through a NJDEP-certified electronics recycler, Thanks for Being Green, LLC.

The 4-H organization will also accept gently-used trophies or used and gently-used sneakers for recycling at the event.

ACUA and the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Atlantic County partner to offer free gardening programming to the community. Programs are held at the Geo Administrative Building, which is the first building on the right at ACUA's Environmental Park (6700 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township). We'll meet outdoors in the garden (weather permitting) or inside the Geo Building. Please register for Garden Talks below to be informed of any changes to the schedule.

Pepper Party! Learn about the different types of peppers from spicy, sweet, small, large, green, purple, and more!  We’re taking a deep dive in to the exciting world of peppers.  We’ll go over how to grow peppers, how to harvest, and the varieties that grow well in South Jersey gardens.

Atlantic County residents can safely dispose of their hazardous waste at ACUA's drop-off.

Household hazardous waste must never be poured down the drain or placed in the trash. Products must be disposed of properly.
