The Master Composter Training Program is offered in partnership with the Rutgers Cooperative Extension and NJ Composting Council. Participants get an in-depth look at how to compost. Composting is a great way to turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into a nutrient rich, soil-building boost for your garden. You'll learn how it works, what you'll need to do it, and how to get the most out of your composting efforts. No prior experience is needed!

The 2023 Master Composter Training Program has reached capacity. Click the button below and sign up to be notified when the next program is announced.

Outside of the Master Composter Training Class, the ACUA and Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Atlantic County offer opportunities to learn about backyard composting throughout the year. Email to learn more.

If you would like to get assistance, or have questions about backyard composting or the training itself, please email us!
