Anthony recently began his career at ACUA but has more than 24 years of electrical experience, and 7 years of experience working specifically with wastewater-related electrical components.
As an Electrician II at ACUA, Anthony can be found bending conduit for wire routing, rewiring motors, exhaust fans, and even replacing lights or adding receptacles in offices. He occasionally gets called out to a pump station to troubleshoot and fix any issues that might come up.
“There’s always something to do. We complete work orders, then move to preventative maintenance. There’s a variety of tasks, so you’re never in one place, and you get the chance to work with different voltages and equipment. You’re never going to be doing the same thing every day.”
