Meet ACUA Staff: Erika

Erika began her career at ACUA as the Front-Desk Administrative Assistant in 2005. Her career path was a bit different than expected. She was originally looking to earn a position in the ACUA Laboratory, as she studied science and holds a degree in Chemistry, but she quickly dove into the world of administrative work.

Over the years, Erika advanced from Administrative Assistant to Office Manager, and currently serves as ACUA’s Payroll and Budget Manager where she oversees the payroll for nearly 300 employees.

Erika has contributed to many of the main administrative functions at ACUA and has become a go-to employee for her knowledge in many areas.

Why She Enjoys Working at ACUA:

“I have three kids and ACUA has allowed me time to put my family first.  From the very beginning, ACUA was willing to work with me to take time off when needed. I enjoy interacting with my coworkers and everyone is so nice to work with.”
