ACUA To Host Citizen Diplomacy International (CDI) ‘Alternative Energy Sources in the US’ at ACUA Wa

ACUA will host a group of four energy experts from India as part of an 18-day program entitled “Alternative Energy Sources in the US” sponsored by Citizen Diplomacy International. Their areas of interest include:

  • Renewable energy vehicle fleet and charging station
  • Renewable energy technologies and power storage
  • Technologies to reduce operations and maintenance work/costs
  • An idea exchange of Best Management Practices involved with renewable energy systems

Who: Energy experts from India

What: The visitors will spend the afternoon visiting ACUA and will learn about ACUA's innovative practices for wastewater and solid waste management, and how ACUA incorporates the production and use of renewable energy and alternative fuel vehicles in its operations.

When: Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 3 p.m.

Where: The group will meet at ACUA’s Wastewater Treatment Facility at 1801 Absecon Boulevard in Atlantic City, then travel to ACUA’s Haneman Environmental Park at 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township.
