ACUA Collection Update for Ventnor City:

Wednesday trash and recycling collection in Ventnor Heights will be performed on Saturday, February 27. Residents in Ventnor Heights may put their carts at the curb on Friday night after 6 p.m.

Residents on the area of Wellington Avenue impacted by the sewer main leak should move their carts to the nearest side street for Saturday's collection.

 To Our Community and Customers:

As you well know, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted nearly every facet of our lives. Despite this, ACUA and its employees have worked to perform the essential sanitation and wastewater treatment services that keep our community clean without interruption.

Throughout the spring and summer months, ACUA implemented measures to ensure the safety of our employees and embarked on an aggressive recruiting plan to bring new team members on board.

As we approach the winter season, we aim to provide the excellent level of customer service you have come to know and expect. We appreciate your patience as you may experience periodic route delays as this crisis continues to impact the health of our essential staff members. We are also working against the clock with shorter daylight hours, which naturally limits our ability to perform services late into the evening. To alleviate additional public health concerns, we must prioritize our trash and recycling routes and may delay yard waste collections to accommodate this. However, we will always fulfill our duty to follow up and collect these items.

We will continue to provide important service updates and invite you to follow our social media pages (FacebookTwitterInstagram), visit our website (www.acua.com), and sign up for our free reminder system to be alerted of any route changes or delays (www.acua.com/reminders).

We thank you for your continued patience and wish you a healthy and happy holiday season during these challenging times.

Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Sincerely,
Richard S. Dovey
ACUA President
