Electric vehicle drivers, supporters, and curious residents are invited to attend ACUA’s Electric Vehicle Celebration, which will highlight the climate, clean air, and cost savings benefits provided by electric cars and trucks. This year, National Drive Electric Week will be celebrated at ACUA as a “hybrid” event, featuring a virtual presentation with industry experts and an in-person vehicle show the next day onsite. National Drive Electric Week is a coast-to-coast celebration of electric vehicles (EVs) which is held this year between September 23 and October 2.
On Tuesday, September 27, representatives from the NJBPU, NJDEP, Atlantic City Electric, and ChargeEVC will make a short presentation during a virtual “Lunch and Learn” session at 12 noon. The next day on Wednesday, September 28, ACUA will host an in-person electric vehicle show featuring bicycles, cars, trucks, and more from 4 to 6 p.m., at the Environmental Park.
Virtual Lunch & Learn - Tuesday, September 27, 12 p.m.
ACUA will host a free virtual “Lunch and Learn” over Zoom, featuring industry experts who will share the latest developments and incentives for NJ drivers and fleet owners. These experts will share information on a variety of topics including NJ incentives and policy developments, new technology, efforts to address barriers to EV adoption and to improve access to the EV charging infrastructure as well as information on medium and heavy-duty EV trucks and equipment. This event also allows participants to ask questions.
In-Persen EV Event - Wednesday, September 28, 4 to 6 p.m.
ACUA will host an in-person car show at ACUA’s Environmental Park located at 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. EV drivers are welcome and encouraged to show off their electric ride at ACUA. This includes plug-in hybrid vehicles, all electric vehicles, and electric bicycles too. There’s nothing like getting to talk directly to someone who drives an EV. ACUA is pleased to be able to bring back this popular in-person event to give participants a chance to see many different types of EVs at one location.
