The Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) welcomed thousands of residents and visitors from across South Jersey for its 34
th Annual Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
The annual event proved to be a not-to-miss tradition for many families despite the cloudy and rainy conditions. With more than 150 vendors, live entertainment, educational exhibits, and a close-up look at solid waste and wastewater treatment operations, the event offered a full day of fun for the entire family centered around the environment.
“It’s rewarding that so many continued to turn out for this wonderful 34-year tradition,” said ACUA President Matthew DeNafo. “We’re proud to offer an event that families can enjoy while learning about the meaningful work ACUA and local organizations provide to protect the environment.”
ACUA’s festival is the largest and longest running Earth Day festival in South Jersey.
ACUA acknowledges the many community partners and sponsors that made this festival a success, including its platinum sponsors Atlantic City Electric, Nehmad Davis and Goldstein, and South Jersey Gas.
