Recycling: ACUA provides biweekly recycling collection on Mondays. View recycling guidelines for Atlantic County.

Trash: ACUA provides weekly trash collection on Mondays.

Bulky Waste: ACUA will collect bulky items every trash day. This includes a mattress or piece of furniture, for example. This does not include construction or demolition debris.

Metals: Public Works provides metals/appliance collection. Please call 609-561-4487 for pickup. Click here for more information.

Container Guidelines

Recycling: Recycling should be placed loose in containers meant for outdoor curbside collection.

Trash: Residents may use any container meant for outdoor trash collection.

Please note: Containers must not weigh more than 50 lbs. If using a cart, this weight limit does not apply. No barrels or drums.

Waste Drop Off Services

Electronics can be taken to the Public Works Yard at 1461 Backline Road on select Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Call 609-561-4487 or click here for details. View other local options.

Household Hazardous Waste should be taken to ACUA drop-offs throughout the year and never placed in your household trash can. View dates and information.
