ACUA provides weekly recycling collection. View recycling guidelines for Atlantic County.

ACUA provides weekly trash collection.

ACUA will collect 1 bulky items every trash day. This includes a mattress or piece of furniture, for example. This does not include construction or demolition debris.

Appliances without freon/CFCs will be accepted with bulky waste.

ACUA collects yard waste on Mondays. View schedule for exact dates. Brush/branches should not exceed 4 ft. in length or 8 in. in diameter and should be tied with twine. 

Ventnor Public Works Dept. accepts TVs only (no other electronics) on your regular trash day. Must call Public Works at 609-823-7935 to schedule collection.

Container Guidelines

Recycling: All items must be placed in carts provided by the City. NO Plastic Bags. Any additional recycling must be placed in containers with a secured lid.

Trash: All items must be placed in carts provided by the City. Any additional trash must be placed in containers with a secured lid.

Yard Waste: Residents may use any clearly marked container meant for outdoor collection or yard waste bags. NO plastic bags. Loose branches should be tied with twine.

Please note: Containers must not weigh more than 50 lbs. If using a cart, this weight limit does not apply. No barrels or drums.

Household Hazardous Waste should be taken to ACUA drop-offs throughout the year and never placed in your household trash can. View dates and information.
