Phil is a Maintenance Mechanic Operator I in ACUA’s Centralized Maintenance Department. In his role at ACUA, his tasks can change from day-to-day. He regularly performs building checks, plumbing services, painting and helps ensure utilities are functional.
Phil enjoys working for a department that plays a big role in keeping ACUA functioning properly around the clock and in all weather. He worked on the bathroom renovations at the Recycling Center, which is a project he is proud to see come to fruition. It involved installing new toilets, dividers, sinks, ceiling tiles, and removing the lockers.
Phil looks forward to taking offsite classes to further his HVAC, building, and maintenance knowledge and skills, which is an opportunity he did not have with previous jobs.
