ACUA recently partnered with Buena Vista Township to bring 96-gallon recycling carts to all Buena Vista Township households.
Buena Vista Township has made a five-year investment to improve recycling and reduce trash costs by purchasing and providing the new carts for each household.
ACUA will deliver one recycling cart to every Township household beginning Monday, May 9. Each cart contains a computer chip to locate the container if misplaced or stolen. The containers are being purchased by Buena Vista Township and are property of the Township.
Any resident who has previously purchased a cart through ACUA will be given a new trash cart instead of a recycling cart. Recycling containers purchased elsewhere cannot be substituted. Residents may still use the smaller ACUA-issued recycling buckets in addition to the ACUA recycling cart.
